Supporting children to heal, grow, and thrive

As an integrative child counsellor, I provide a safe and supportive space where children can explore their feelings, build resilience, and develop tools for emotional wellbeing.

My practice is trauma-informed, which means I understand how experiences such as stress, loss, or adversity can affect a child’s emotions, behaviours, and sense of safety. I work gently and at the child’s pace, always prioritising trust, choice, and connection. This creates a secure foundation where children feel respected, valued, and ready to engage. A trauma-informed approach also means I pay close attention to the whole child — mind and body — supporting them in recognising how emotions are felt physically, and developing strategies for regulation and self-soothing.

I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every child. This may include:

I also have experience supporting neurodivergent children, ensuring my work is inclusive, flexible, and responsive to different ways of experiencing and interacting with the world.

My aim is to help children express themselves in ways that feel natural, nurture their strengths, and empower them to navigate challenges with greater ease and resilience.
